Cleansing & Setting the Space
Before you begin, it’s essential to prepare not just the ingredients, but also the space and energy around you. Use palo santo to cleanse your cups and your environment, neutralizing any lingering energies and inviting calm and focus. This small act of clearing allows the cacao to be received with an open and clear heart, amplifying its transformative power.
Recipe
Ingredients (for 5 cups of cacao)
5 cups purified water
2 to 3 tablespoons of ceremonial cacao (adjust depending on how strong you want the dose)
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of cayenne pepper (activates the potency of the cacao)
Optional Additives:
1 teaspoon of coconut oil for a rich texture
Pinch of ginger for digestive health
Pinch of cardamom for warmth and depth
Honey or agave for sweetness, added at the end as desired
